2004 Advanced Placement for Summer Institute ( APSI )

2004 APSI Brochure [.PDF] Register Online (CLOSED) Graduate Credit Faculty  Credits  Fees  Accommodations  APSI Detailed Schedule

UNC Charlotte's Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education in cooperation with The College Board Advanced Placement Program  invites both new and experienced teachers to our Advanced Placement Institutes.  Our limited class size and team teaching approach pairs an experienced high school master teacher with a university professor to create a high quality program in great demand by teachers nationwide.  Both residential students and commuters are welcome.

The Summer 2004 Institutes offer a valuable opportunity to strengthen your teaching skills, share ideas with other teaching professionals, and update your credentials.  Enrollment in each institute is limited so register early to reserve your spot.  A waiting list will be maintained. Once you are registered you may send an alternate if you find that you cannot attend.

The UNC Charlotte  1,000-acre campus, located 10 miles from uptown Charlotte, abounds with activity in the summertime.  Adult students and conferees join undergraduate students and foreign visitors, mingling in cafeterias, lounges, on woodland trails and lakeside spots.  Shopping, restaurants, theater, and sporting events are available nearby.
